SHIT HAPPENS

This may not be 100% true but it's a good story and shit happens...

PADERBORN, GERMANY - Overzealous zookeeper Frederic Briefed fed his constipated elephant Stefan 22 doses of animal laxative and more than a bushel of berries, figs and prunes before the plugged-up pachyderm finally let fly — and suffocated the keeper under 200 pounds of poop!

Investigators say ill-fated Friedrich, 46, was attempting to give the ailing elephant an olive-oil enema when the relieved beast unloaded on him like a dump truck full of mud.

"The sheer force of the elephant's unexpected defecation knocked Mr. Riesfeldt to the ground, where he struck his head on a rock and lay unconscious as the elephant continued to evacuate his bowels on top of him," said flabbergasted Paderborn police detective Erik Dern.

"With no one there to help him, he lay under all that dung for at least an hour before a watchman came along, and during that time he suffocated.
"It seems to be just one of those freak accidents that happen sometimes — a billion-to-one shot, at least."

The heartbreaking tale of constipation and tragedy began April 23 when the conscientious zookeeper noticed that his prize, 8,000-pound African elephant didn't seem to be producing his usual poop aplenty.
"Friedrich had actually been concerned for several days because he knew that severe constipation can kill an elephant," assistant zookeeper Kurt Herrman recalled.

"He told me he was going to stay late that Thursday night to treat Stefan with laxatives and possibly give him an enema.

"I offered to help, but he sent me on home, saying he had everything under control."

But two hours later, horrified night watchman Walter Pleuger found Friedrich lying lifeless under a mound of muck, his body visible only from the knees down.

"I had never really thought about it before," Det. Dern said. "But obviously, giving an elephant an enema can be a very dangerous activity — and not something that should be attempted alone."

I WANTED TO BE WORSHIPED

Back around a decade ago I had clearer ideas of what I wanted online, and why I was blogging. I stated my primary goals definitively...

"I want to be worshiped like an angry black man with a huge penis"

But after that, doubts started to creep in and I lost sight of my goals...

"Is it worthwhile for me to write stuff? I am uncertain as to whether I can write any entertaining shit anymore, as at this point I am something of a boring old fart with little sense of humour or wit whose writing is so crap a previous version of me would have used it as inspiration as to how not to write"

I still want to change aspects of the world that are bollocks, by helping to expose these things, thereby shifting the tides of perception. We are all only small cogs in a huge machine, but we can still make an annoying high pitched noise that makes the machine sound totally fucked.

SIFT ARCHIVE PAGE

Being a bit of a completionist, for some reason I wanted to copy the content from my original Sift Blogger blog from over a decade ago, and add it all as a single page to this blog. Some of it still amuses me and this entire blog is primarily for my own amusement so why not? The all old SIFT archive page.

Somewhere around 2009 to 2013 I used to have a blog on Blogger. That blog was the inspiration for this new 2024 version. I'm not certain what the exact time span of the original was because the dates on the posts all seem to have disappeared. The most recent post was about the abomination that was Windows 8 and that came out in 2013 so I guessed the date from that.

Around that time I was posting on quite a few platforms and Blogger was certainly not my number one daily driver. I just used to do some occasional short posts on it. Apart from one post when I first set up this new blog in 2023 I never posted on that old blog after 2013, so after a decade away I was actually quite surprised that Google hadn't deleted it all.

But some of the content certainly doesn't amuse Google's AI, so this is not quite all of it, only what Google will let me re-post. Back in the old days internet censorship wasn't as full on and the old blog seems to still be all online here.

NZ IS CUTTING EDGE

No country in Europe is still poisoning it's citizens with fluoride.

Fluoridation has been rejected in just about every country in the world. Yet, here we are in New Zealand, the globalist "government" is extending fluoridation across the entire country.

No country in continental Europe has fluoridation. Some countries in Europe did start fluoridation many years ago but have all since stopped. The last place to stop was the Basque region in Spain.

The UK (10%) and Ireland (70%) are the only European countries that still fluoridate. Only eight, out of a total of 197, countries in the world have more than 50% of the population on fluoridated water.

Back in 2014, Fluoride Free New Zealand aired an advert on TV3 to present this information. The 30 second advert provided some of the reasons these countries have rejected fluoridation. https://youtube.com/watch?v=-F-0XoG4EzY

GIMP 3 HAS FINALLY BEEN RELEASED

This has been a long time coming, as GIMP 2 was released in 2004. The new version of GIMP looks really good. Here is a screen shot of it installed on my Linux Mint PC:

This webpage covers all the new updates. They seem have stayed fully focused on improving the features, and unlike Firefox or Jaguar they have not fallen into the fashionable cesspit of trying to go woke or reinvent themselves. Which is great to see.  https://www.gimp.org/news/2024/11/06/gimp-3-0-RC1-released/

GIMP is not only for Linux, there are Windows and Mac versions as well. So you don't have to pay Adobe a huge monthly fee and let them steal your images. You can use GIMP for free, instead of paying for Photoshop. The initial release of GIMP 3 is available for download here:  https://www.gimp.org/downloads/devel/

PINE vs. NUDE

In these times of relentless FUDPORN we need to pay attention to the stream of utter crap that is being loaded into our brains. Two acronyms I came up with to remind myself of that:

PINE - Positive, Inspiring, Necessary, Entertaining
NUDE - Negative, Unnecessary, Doubting, Eunuch
