GAB IS DEAD

Long live the next deep state controlled "alternative" social media platform.

I used to use the Gab platform to find memes, but it was never any good for much else, and I had long given up on it. There was very little interaction, the platform never worked well, and most of the content was moronic Americentric posts going on about their clown show politics, with endless memes about puppets like Donald Chump or Joe Bidet.

Gab had long been in decline but it really went downhill rapidly in 2023 - I had a quick look today and as of March it is all over. There are no good memes on there any more. The owner of Gab started charging membership fees to post images from March 1st and that really was the final straw for Gab.

Gab was once considered to be a free speech alternative to sites like Twitter and Facebook. When it first launched, it had an idealistic glow about it, as people thought it might become a viable community that could challenge the censored sites. But the glow wore off quickly, and Gab has been in a downward spiral for years. Recent events have made it clear that the final end of the site is near.

Andrew Torba, the owner of Gab, announced that a pro membership would be required to post images on the site. That came after the end of Gab TV and other initiatives that didn’t generate significant revenue for Torba. The announcement about the image posting indicates severe financial problems for Gab.

I predict this could well be another boost for Facebook, where the memes are now getting better by the day and with some creative spelling, pretty much any content can be zipped under the radar of their AI censorship.

ENGLISH TOURISTS

THESE ARE ACTUAL COMPLAINTS RECEIVED BY "THOMAS COOK VACATIONS" FROM DISSATISFIED CUSTOMERS:

1. "They should not allow topless sunbathing on the beach. It was very distracting for my husband who just wanted to relax."
2. "On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food."
3. "We went on holiday to Spain and had a problem with the taxi drivers as they were all Spanish."
4. "We booked an excursion to a water park but no-one told us we had to bring our own swimsuits and towels. We assumed it would be included in the price."
5. "The beach was too sandy. We had to clean everything when we returned to our room."
6. "We found the sand was not like the sand in the brochure. Your brochure shows the sand as white but it was more yellow."
7. "It's lazy of the local shopkeepers in Puerto Vallartato close in the afternoons. I often needed to buy things during 'siesta' time -- this should be banned."
8. "No-one told us there would be fish in the water. The children were scared."
9. "Although the brochure said that there was a fully equipped kitchen, there was no egg-slicer in the drawers."
10. "I think it should be explained in the brochure that the local convenience store does not sell proper biscuits like custard creams or ginger nuts."
11. "The roads were uneven and bumpy, so we could not read the local guide book during the bus ride to the resort. Because of this, we were unaware of many things that would have made our holiday more fun."
12. "It took us nine hours to fly home from Jamaica to England. It took the Americans only three hours to get home. This seems unfair."
13. "I compared the size of our one-bedroom suite to our friends' three-bedroom and ours was significantly smaller."
14. "The brochure stated: 'No hairdressers at the resort.' We're trainee hairdressers and we think they knew and made us wait longer for service."
15. "When we were in Spain, there were too many Spanish people there. The receptionist spoke Spanish, the food was Spanish. No one told us that there would be so many foreigners."
16. "We had to line up outside to catch the boat and there was no air-conditioning."
17. "It is your duty as a tour operator to advise us of noisy or unruly guests before we travel."
18. "I was bitten by a mosquito. The brochure did not mention mosquitoes."
19. "My fiancée and I requested twin-beds when we booked, but instead we were placed in a room with a king bed. We now hold you responsible and want to be re-reimbursed for the fact that I became pregnant. This would not have happened if you had put us in the room that we booked."

PUTIN WAS REPLACED MANY YEARS AGO

Like many politicians (Joe Biden is another excellent example), Putin was replaced long ago, and his replacement is not a very good match...

For me it's not just the physical differences, which are plain to see, but they look especially different in their eyes. If the eyes are the windows to the soul these two certainly don't look like they share the same souls...

WERE THE FIRES IN MAUI LAST YEAR TOTALLY FAKE?

The photos are appallingly obvious fakes, and the entire event looks to be mostly, if not 100%, fiction, with all sorts of lies being uncovered along with the CGI images. Miles Mathis has been busy revealing many of the lies, as he often does...

http://mileswmathis.com/updates.html

Probably it won't make much difference, the gormless public seem to believe whatever crap they are told, "moon landings" "covid" "global warming", whatever bullshit they are told they seem to just lap it all up. But there is always a chance that one day all these lies will be revealed and the globalist narratives will all come crashing down.

REVISITING INSTAGRAM PART 2

Instagram seems to be a site where people mainly just post photos and videos, rather than delving into life's mysteries, but I can do that too - one of my hobbies is taking photos of random strangers...

I was curious to see if Instagrammers do politics - I don’t usually dwell on the clown show that is politics, but I was checking things out...

Just in case anyone sees this picture and thinks I support the "green" party - NO I DON'T, but I suspect my Instagram account would get suspended if I said what I really thought of those morons so a pic of a green tranny will have to do.

Having an account on Instagram could be a bit stressful for me because there are lots of Normies on Instagram, and I usually get along badly with Normies, they seem to think I'm wrong all the time...

And now for the elephant in the room - can the Instagram feed be seen in chronological order rather than a controlled algorithm based feed? That was the main reason I stopped using Instagram back in 2016 when they stopped the chronological feed.

I heard that could be changed as of 2022. But it turned out that is only on the mobile app, not on the website. So not much use to me.

While there are 441 apps for Instagram in Firefox, none give a chronological feed. Most of the extensions are just ways to work around Instagram's attempts to make it hard to download content.

The next elephant in the Instagram room is that it's really quite hard to find people or groups I have any desire to follow - it may have 1.3 billion active users but there are more w0ket@rds than you can shake a stick at.

There is lots of content being posted, but I was blown away by just how little questioning of the narratives is occurring on Instagram.

So I did go back and have another look around, but no, Instagram is just not for me, and I have buggered off again - I might have another look in another eight years, maybe...
