Everything We Have Been Told Is A Lie – Politicians Are Puppets To Control People Not Serve them!

We are told to trust our governments and that our politicians are there to serve us. Sadly this is often not the case! In this post we will be discussing the rotten and corrupt agencies that our governments have become. Instead of serving the people the real role of our governments is to serve their corporate masters and control the population – not liberate them! ?

I want this to post to discuss the global phenomenon of political corruption rather than specific examples. Steemit is a global community and no matter where you are from, if you are not completely asleep you will know examples of political corruption in your part of the world. This is the eighth post of my series Everything We Have Been Told Is A Lie and links to the other posts will be provided at the bottom.

There is a lot to talk about with the corruption of our government – it has been going on for a long time! Until the people wake up and insist upon a greater input into the decision making of governments, we will continue to live as prisoners who do not understand the mechanisms of our imprisonment.

The Politics Of Birds

When I was a child I used to listen to my elders talking about politics. I would always hear the expressions “left wing” and “right wing”. I would hear people being referred to as “so left wing” or “so right wing”. Now that I am older and understand the true meaning of these words, I am laughing at how uneducated and ludicrous my elders sounded when I was younger.

Etymology is defined by Google as: “the study of the origin of words and the way in which their meanings have changed throughout history.” When we start to look at the true meanings of words we start to understand a lot more about what they mean.

What animal has a “wing” – as in “right wing” or “left wing”? A bird. Birds have two wings. What sits in the middle of the two wings – deciding when to flap them? The brain! The entire “left wing” “right wing” political paradigm is a a complete farce. A ruse to fool the uneducated into thinking they really have a choice between two differing opinions of view. What a joke!

A Two Party System?

In this post we will not deal with dictatorships but rather our so called “democratic” political systems. In democracy we mostly see two main political parties, sometimes with a few smaller parties thrown in for good measure. In the US it’s Republicans and Democrats and in the UK it’s Labour and Tory. This model is played out across the democratic world.

The theory is that having two opposing parties will lead to a balance of power. What we see today, after decades of erosion, is that our political parties have alined their views on all subjects that are related to the profits of big business. Any campaign rhetoric against big business is usually only lip-service and we see few, if any real changes for the better.

This mess is not by chance. The corrupting power of money has infiltrated every level of our public services and the politicians who run them. The policy decisions taken are often to the detriment of the public and the benefit of big business!

The Turgid Swamp That Is Politics

Globally the political situation stinks! We have either overt dictators or democracy that comes with capitalist dictators. There are so many things that smell bad about this situation that it’s hard to know where to begin. At the base of the issue is the fact that our governments are completely corrupted and controlled by a people who have enough money to wield that power.

Control comes in many forms. Overt control comes from financial contributions and political support. Covert control usually comes in the forms of blackmail and murder. Our governments purport to be on the side of the law and yet they are funded by the biggest criminals on our planet. The sheer number of ex-GoldmanSachs employees who hold powerful positions in global politics is a clear giveaway!

The populace has become accustomed to having their leaders promise positive action during campaigns and yet when the politicians are elected – they mostly don’t keep their promises. The situation has become so bad that now this kind of behaviour is almost expected and considered normal in our societies.

If you want to look at who is controlling the agenda we can look at two groups:

Those who profit from policies! ?
Those we are not allowed to criticise! ?

Many politicians make a life career out of politics and this is part of the problem. Career politicians become more aligned with their large financial donors than with the needs and desires of their constituents. This is called Regulatory Capture and is a very real and dangerous threat to democracy. Having career politicians/civil servants is very dangerous to the population.

To be frank though how would most of these career politicians have any idea how to make decisions on behalf of the populace. They have never done a single day’s work as a labourer and have no real experience of the growing economic plight suffered by the majority of us. They are protected from this high in their ivory castles….

How To Spot An Honest & Smart Politician? LOL! ?

Honest politicians are few and far between – we all know that! The problem is that those who wield real financial power see to it that honesty and integrity are traits which are weeded out from our politicians before they become decision makers. Even if a few of our politicians are not corrupt the system they work within is! The game is stacked heavily against the people and the few honest politicians.

No matter who is in political power we always see actions that represent financial interests not the people. Yet we are always sold a “reformer” at the elections… What a sick joke!

If you are looking for an honest and intelligent politician – you shall know them by their actions not by their media image. A big red flag flaps in the breeze when our potential leaders are sold to us as young, dynamic, charismatic and good looking! When you see those attributes being promoted in young politicians sit up and take notice!

The actions that will define a real politician should be in favour of the people! Any intelligent, well educated and honest politician should understand the basics of our monetary slavery which I outlined in my previous post. An honest politician would immediately implement changes to liberate the populace from debt and economic slavery. Yet what do we hear from politicians globally about this subject? Not a single decibel!!! ?

The truth is that until we take our governance into our hands we will never hear anything from our politicians concerning the truth of our financial system – as this is one of the main tools of our subjugation! Speaking and educating the public about these subjects would bring the entire control structure crumbling down and would be very dangerous for any daring politician with integrity. The same applies for corporate control of our education, health, media, agricultural and legal industries. Fitting this large puzzle together is why I wrote this series of articles.

At this point I would like to point out that one of the few politicians I have constantly heard calling for an audit of the Federal Reserve and a cleaning up of the monetary cesspit is Ron Paul. I am not American and I don’t know a lot about him but when I hear a politician publicly calling for an assessment of our monetary system I applaud! Good stuff! ?

The Deep State

The deep state exists in all countries but I suspect that the bigger the country the larger the deep state. When I talk about the deep state I am referring to massive vested interests that straddle government, corporate and criminal fraternities. These organisations are often fronted by government departments but at their higher levels are purely controlled by criminal enterprises.

Running such large criminal organisations is very profitable but costs a lot of money. Vast sums are continuously being generated through criminal activities within our governments. The profits are phenomenal, yet the risks are relatively low. After all: who is going to bust the government? Even if they do get discovered the penalties are not severe. Just look at the Iran-Contra Scandal. An even more recent example is how the Wall St. bankers were allowed to steal trillions of dollars during the financial crisis. American politicians first protected and then assisted the bankers to steal trillions – to balance their books which they were guilty of thieving from in the first place! Excuse my language – WTF???

The deep state is very real and is intricately involved with the numerous false flag attacks and mind warfare perpetrated against us by the real rulers of our planet. Watch out!

Legalised Corruption

A huge red flag which screams corruption is our legal system. This is to be the topic of my next post in this series but I will not cover it at length here. It is important to note that there is a lot of interaction with the judiciary, police and politicians. Many belong to the same secret societies – a topic for another post!

How often does a stooge for the new world order get caught out perpetrating a massive crime including murder yet nothing happens to them? What about the case of Tony Blair and George W. Bush who dragged the western world into invading Iraq under the pretext of “weapons of mass destruction?* It was categorically proven that Iraq never had any “WMDs”. Untold numbers of people were murdered or displaced by these actions yet Bush is allowed to retire and Blair is made Middle East Peace Envoy!! This is INSANE!!! ? We have very strict laws about murder yet they don’t seem to apply to our politicians!

Before I drag this post on too long I just want to say that prominent people are often being caught committing crimes such as murder, rape, pedophilia and narcotic crimes and nothing that bad ever happens to them. If you are a young, poor kid from an ethnic minority they throw away the key if you commit a crime! If you are rich, corrupt and connected then the sentences are always light or non existent.

The last thing I want to say about the legal corruption here is that even if the judiciary has behaved correctly and sentenced a wealthy individual for crimes they have committed it is still possible to use political connections to override the judiciary. One out of many examples I can present to you here is: Marc Rich who was guilty of enormous crimes and for years was on the FBI’s 10 most wanted list. He was able to buy a pardon from president Clinton as he exited the White House. What a farce this makes of the law! Excuse me while I am being sick into the canal!

Business As Usual

In this post we have identified myriad glaring problems with our political systems. Why are these issues never raised in schools, universities, the media or the law? The answer is because these systems are ALL controlled by the same money powers that control our political system.

No matter who is in power we see the same policies! Think about it! Nothing changes for the better! Things just keep getting worse! People get poorer, corporations get richer and our civil liberties decrease in proportion to the rise in our control systems… What does that tell us???

What Could Political Reform Look Like?

What an interesting question! Understandably this is not a subject that our schools or media address. What do we need to do to take back control our our political decision making process? I always like to conclude important posts with suggestions for what to do if we want change.

To make effective suggestions about how to make political change is a little beyond my skill set, yet I offer these few suggestions. Any more that you may have I will be greatly interested to read in the comments! ?

Instigate community political movements – run by the people for the people. This will only work if politicians are allowed a limited term in office.
Insist that if less than 50% of the population votes in an election then a major political overhaul is initiated. Perhaps some kind of referendum can be used here. This same process could be used to implement a kind of referendum process similar to what they have in Switzerland.
Keep working with crypto currency because if we release ourselves from financial slavery we are in a much better position to make decisions.
Educate yourself and then your friends and family. Just like in an aircraft they tell you to put your own oxygen mask on before attending to your dependants.
Don’t pay tax! Learn to avoid this criminal and unjust financial penalty for the crimes committed by our politicians.
Don’t believe your politicians and anything they or the media says about them.
Turn off your TV, stop listening to radio (except for music!) and don’t read the newspapers. Then you are not as easy to manipulate.

It will always be practically impossible to get the politicians to reform the system from which they profit. We need to take control of our own affairs into our own hands. When I was young I never wanted to be involved with politics. I couldn’t think of anything worse. As I learnt more I came across Plato’s attitude to politics and it struck me heavily. Plato said:

“One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors!

Plato was right! We need to realise this and take action. Why were we never taught this in School? We all know the answer now and we need to make significant changes.

There is one last topical post for me to write in this series which will discuss our legal system. Then I will conclude with one final analysis at which point I can move on to move interesting subjects. I am looking forward to completing this series and moving forward but I am glad that I have taken the time to compile my beliefs for my Steemian community!

MEDICAL INDUSTRY

Everything We Have Been Told Is A Lie – The Medical Industry Is Designed For Profit Not People!

We are taught to believe that the medical industry is there to heal us but sadly this is often not the case. Although there are many good Doctors trying hard to assist people, the medical industry sees patients as clients from which to generate profit. There are positives to western medicine but the industry has become riddled with corruption.

Pharmaceutical companies have a single aim which is to generate as much profit for their shareholders as possible. Big Pharma has no financial incentive to heal you because they would loose a client. In this post we will discuss the true agenda for Big Pharma and the corruption built into the industry.

Big Pharma belongs to the web of large holdings which has allowed a very small number of powerful families to own the majority of our world. This imbalance has caused death, destruction and disharmony on our planet.

The Birth Of Big Pharma

Modern medicine and the Big Pharma cartel are relatively new phenomenons. In their short lifespan they have been guilty of almost every skullduggery known to humanity including murder. Contrary to acting for the benefit of humanity the industry avariciously covets profits. It is far more profitable to endlessly treat the symptoms rather than cure a disease. A prime founder of the industry was John D. Rockefeller who had already made enormous amounts of money with his Standard Oil company. Using his petrochemical products Rockefeller created chemicals which he sold as medicinal cures. Having once been quoted as saying “competition is a sin” Rockefeller set about removing any competition from medical practices which had been practiced previously. By this point the Supreme Court of the U.S. had already found Rockefeller and his trust guilty of corruption, illegal business practices and racketeering.

Rockefeller helped to define modern philanthropy with many large grants to Universities and trusts setting the stage for the corporate control of the medical schools and publications. This plan has largely been achieved globally and channels enormous wealth into the hands of a few people who control the industry. At every opportunity natural products have been patented or outlawed increasing the monopoly power of the cartel.

The primary function of the industry is to generate profit and that is most readily achieved by selling pills or procedures to people. Using natural remedies and cost effective cures does not factor into this equation. A trip to any chemist in the west today presents you shelves of expensive products but few if any of the natural and effective remedies which were available to our ancestors.

Big Phama Calling The Shots

A telling indicator of the state of the industry today is that the pharmaceutical lobby is the biggest spender in the US, spending a whopping $240 million on lobbying last year. This gives you an indication of how much money is involved in the industry and the need for Big Pharma to push for laws and conditions which will maximise their profits. This situation reeks of corruption.

Corruption is rife throughout the industry and I witnessed it first hand when I organised an event for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. The event was held on a tropical island attended by 300 doctors. The doctors were allowed to bring their wives, families or mistresses with them to the event. Everything was paid for the doctors including flights, hotel, transfers, food and beverages. At the end of the week the pharmaceutical company signed off on the doctor’s yearly mandatory study hours. Practically none of the doctors attended the event and even if they had it was just a marketing exercise for the company’s products. The implicit agreement was that the doctors could have a free weeks holiday once a year and have their study hours validated if they continued to sell this company’s products. These doctors seemed to have forgotten their Hippocratic Oath! My post on this experience can be read here.

Fortuitously I was having dinner in Phnom Penh last night with two indian heads of generic pharmaceutical firms. Both confirmed with me that bribing doctors with trips or gifts is standard even in the generic pharmaceutical business. This corruption is normal! These two gentlemen believed that the gifts were necessary but if the product was inferior then doctors would stop prescribing it. I think they were kidding themselves. When there is money involved there are always people who will be influenced by the trips and gifts. Big Pharma pays for over 30,000 of these doctor events yearly in Australian alone!

Much of modern medicine has deteriorated to identifying a symptom and then prescribing a pharmaceutical to deal with that one particular issue. The veterinary industry is exactly the same. I spent many years working with horses and became disillusioned with veterinarians. I searched out a healer who could teach me about plants and found the natural cures to be more effective and cheaper than the pharmaceuticals for many conditions.

Some estimates put the yearly cost of pharmaceutical marketing in the US at $56 billion! This huge amount of money is spent to drive the profits of the industry. Combined with the enormous amount of money spent on lobbying it is clear how profitable this industry is. In Australia recently there were TV advertisements that advised people to see their doctor to be prescribed medication for nerve pain. What does that even mean?

Medical Tragedies

The medical industry is not only very profitable but it also contributes to the deaths and injury of enormous amounts of people. Between 1996 and 2001, American pharmaceutical giant Purdue Pharma held over than 40 national “pain management symposia” for thousands of medical professionals in idyllic locations. These all expenses paid trips increased sails of OxyContin tenfold and started the current opioid addiction crisis. Pushing this addictive product onto people is very profitable but amounts to nothing more than drug pushing.

By 2012, sales of prescription opioids grossed $11 billion in the US annually and insufficient regulatory oversight contributed to over 15,000 fatal overdoses! This is just one of numerous tragic stories that implicate the medical industry with corruption and contributing to human death and misery.

Consolidation & Corruption

The proposed merger of Monsanto and Bayer Pharmaceuticals would create a truly frightening company that could be very harmful to humans and the planet. This merger is indicative of the consolidation we see happening in all large industries. One half of this frightening company would poison our food and the other half would sell us drugs to deal with the illnesses caused by eating poisoned food. Terrifying!

Regulators are still discussing whether to allow the merger but with the extreme lobbying budgets of these two giants and the extended political influence they have I suspect we will see the merger go ahead. To be honest I believe that these large multinational companies are all owned at the top by a few vastly powerful and wealthy families which interlock.

Vaccines

I know that the topic of vaccination is contentious and I also have an understanding of what the sentiment towards vaccines here on Steemit is. The topic has been covered at length but I just wish to raise a few points which are worth considering about vaccines.

Remember that Big Pharma is designed to produce as much profit as possible, human welfare is not the primary goal.
In the US families of those injured or killed by vaccines are not allowed to sue the pharmaceutical companies. This is a huge red flag. What other industry can you think of where the corporations cannot be held responsible for injury or death?
The number of people who have received compensation from the US government for vaccination injury or death is rising.
The number of vaccines that are given to people has sky rocketed in my lifetime.
Children are vaccinated at birth for hepatitis B which is a disease normally transmitted through sharing needles or sex. This is incredibly strange.
Australian children are now given 32 vaccines before they are 1 year old. A full lifetimes worth of vaccinations can be almost a hundred vaccines. The official Australian vaccination schedule can be found here.
This all adds up to enormous profit for Big Pharma!

The concept of herd immunity is often used to justify vaccinations. However a massive percentage of the population in places like Australia, the US and UK flies in and out of the country each year as tourists but none of these people are checked for vaccinations. How does this impact the concept of herd immunity? To me it seems to negate the concept. Can someone please explain this to me?

The Cycle Of Money

This colossus of an industry generates enormous volumes of money for the owners. This money is then redistributed to push for more profits. Money is spent in two directions. Firstly on lobbying with the pharmaceutical lobby being the biggest of all lobby groups in the US. This gives Big Pharma powerful influence over the government and allows them to push for laws which are favourable to them and increase profits.

Secondly the money is spent on advertising. In 2015 pharmaceutical advertising rose to $5.2 billion and there seems no sign of this trend reversing. This huge amount of money gives the pharmaceutical industry enormous influence over the already corrupt media industry. My intuition tells me that at the top both industries are controlled by the same people. The influence over the media means news stories which are not favourable towards Big Pharma are often suppressed and important information withheld from the public. News can also be skewed to be favourable for the industry and I suspect that this kind of information manipulation is happening with the vaccine debate.

All this money sloshing around to push for more profits and the cycle begins again. The concept of healing does not have a place in this process the driving factor is profit not people!

What Can We Do To Heal The Situation?

One of the most interesting studies for me has been learning about natural healing. Plants are powerful and have enormous healing properties. The knowledge of plant medicine is ancient and deserves much more respect than it gets. After all many pharmaceuticals are based around plants. There is a lot of valuable information online but it is important to remember that some plants can harm you if used incorrectly. The best thing to do is find people who already know about plants and talk with them. These people are not as common as they used to be before in our western cities but they are around if you look for them.

I do not wish this post to be a criticism of all doctors and professionals working in the medical industry because there are some amazing hard working people who dedicated themselves to the alleviation of illness and pain in others. I have doctors in my family and they agree with my perspective on corruption within the industry. What I see here is that Big Pharma has corrupted the medical industry. The relentless push for profits inevitably puts the welfare of patients second.

With the use of simple traditional remedies many common ailments can be effectively naturally treated cost effectively. One product that I find extremely effective which I make and use myself is Colloidal Silver. I will do a post soon on my experience with this product. Natural cures are excellent but mostly staying healthy is about eating clean healthy food and regular exercise! ?

FOOD CORRUPTION

Everything We Have Been Told Is A Lie – Poisoning Us For Profit : The Corruption Of Our Food System

Extraordinary effort has been made to control our food supply – those who control food, control the people! The rampant corruption that has facilitated this control has made people sick while delivering huge profits for bloated corporations. Food is the very material we utilise to live, grow and stay healthy – much of it is now controlled by 10 corporations!

Regardless of our diet if we consume food that has been covered in chemicals we are still harming our bodies. It is important to understand the control and manipulation of our agriculture industry so that we can take steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

To put things into perspective we shall discuss the dangerous situation we find ourselves in. Then we shall look at some appalling examples of corruption in the food industry which should get you to sit up and take notice. Finally we will look at how this impacts us and what we can do about it.

“Control Food And You Control The People!” – Henry Kissinger

Food is essential to our lives and a small change in price or availability can cause riots and death. It is enormously profitable to supply our food and the industry is controlled by only a few powerful players. This has not happened by chance and represents a dangerous challenge to our communities.

As is usual with massive corruption, the revolving door of appointments between agribusiness and government is well oiled. The huge profits enjoyed by the industry have created endemic corruption which sees our politicians representing the interests of industry to the detriment of public health.

The consolidation of the industry has also seen the quality of our food deteriorate. The nutritional value of our food has decreased while the volume of toxins we consume through food has increased. Sadly many of the foodstuffs we eat today are toxic and harmful to our bodies. This equates to: paying to be poisoned!

Franken Food

In the quest to control all our food, biotech firms like Monsanto have been genetically modifying our food crops. Although there has been global resistance to this process due to fears of monopolisation and unknown environmental health risks, Monstanto marches steadily on.

Franken Food is the term given to genetically modified crops created in a lab. As the volume of Franken Food grows the cost of natural organic food increases. This makes eating non genetically modified food expensive and only for those with money.

Here are three modified crops to be aware of. I don’t even want to touch on the adulteration of meat products in this post! ?

Franken-Soy : Most soybean crops are genetically-modified soy. This has been linked to a host of health problems, including potentially cancer.
Franken-Tomatoes : Many types of genetically modified tomatoes have been released to a largely unsuspecting public. GM tomatoes contain DNA sequences that have been reversed to prevent softening. This allows for longer shelf-life and increased profits. These tomatoes have lower nutritional value than the organic version.
Franken-Oil : Many vegetable oils are produced from genetically-modified corn, canola, and soybeans. As these are among the most heavily genetically-modified crops foods made with vegetable oils are highly suspect and should be avoided.

What is clear is that growing and using genetically modified crops has potential health and environmental risks which we do not yet fully comprehend. Millennia of nature’s selection has produced incredible healthy food for us. Why do we want to let corporations own our food and modify it? The fact that our governments allow this to happen is indicative of high level corruption!

The Pharmaceutical Industry In Bed With The Agricultural Industry?

Our food is highly adulterated. If you removed all of the items in a normal supermarket that contain artificial products there would hardly be anything left on the shelves! A stroll through one of these large supermarkets in the west is eyeopening. Most people’s shopping trollies are filled with products that introduce a plethora of unnatural chemicals which are poisonous to us.

The effects of this bombardment of chemicals on our bodies and minds are very harmful. Chemical toxicity makes us sick and chemical imbalances affect our minds. This is particularly true with young children. The rise in mental and physical illness in recent times is a repercussion of our poisonous food. A can of Coke contains 39 grams of sugar! This has a huge effect on the minds of young children. Sadly instead of a change of diet many children are diagnosed with disorders like ADD and given pharmaceuticals. Often they are still allowed to drink Coke! ?

This is a business man’s dream set-up. One business profits by poisoning the population’s bodies and minds while its sister business profits from selling people drugs for their illness. What a score! If only these two industries could be officially combined… Oh wait they are currently trying to do just that with the merger of Bayer and Monsanto! What a Franken-Corporation!

This cosy relationship is why my next post in this series will be about the corruption of our medical industry.

Food And Government Corruption

Corruption within our governments is endemic and the food industry is a major culprit. Where there is big money there is big corruption. The food industry lobby in America is one of the largest and wields enormous power. I will be delving into this topic in my forthcoming post about corruption in politics. In the mean time lets just have a look at a few appalling examples of corruption which was profitable for the food industry and detrimental for the people.

The Food Pyramid : This bogus chart was shown to all of us when we were children. There has been much controversy over the manipulation of this chart but when I was young the Food Pyramid was a big part of our nutritional education. This rubbish was amplified by the fact that we never discussed growing organic food or natural healing in school. We were also allowed to drink Coke! ? America’s 2016 federal dietary guidelines are a reflection of how powerful the food lobby still is in government.
Aspartame : The FDA banned Aspartame twice because it believed it caused brain tumours and cancers. That was until the intervention of Donald Rumsfeld. Rumsfeld was the CEO of the makers of Aspartame, Searle which was absorbed in 1985 by Monsanto. Today Aspartame is in a multitude of food products. It is highly advisable to stay away from any kind of artificial sweetener of “diet” product.
Sugar Poisoning : Damon Gameau’s excellent That Sugar Film gives the example of the small indigenous town of Amara 100 KM from Ayers rock in outback Australia. After having suffered the loss of many of it’s community through dietary related illness, Amara implemented an anti sugar campaign. Very quickly Amara became the lowest consumer of sugar per capita in the Northern Territory. The government slashed the funding of this successful project, massively reducing it’s impact. Instead of using the project’s success to encourage other communities to replicate the scheme the funding was removed. What does that say to you?

These are just three examples of government corruption on behalf of the food industry. There are many more. What is important to remember is that you cannot trust the government, media or food industry to tell you if your food is unsafe. It is your responsibility to educate yourself on nutrition and what is in the food you are eating. Nothing can be healthier for you than fresh organic food and being healthy will mean you have a happy life! ?

We Find Ourselves In A Very Dangerous Situation!

Our current situation is extremely worrying! We have allowed multinational corporations to profit handsomely by owning much of our agriculture industry while genetically modifying our food and poisoning it with pesticides. This power over life and death, health and sickness is truly frightening. This immense power should not reside in a few private hands.

Globally control of the agriculture industry has consolidated with only 10 companies owning the majority of our food. In Australia I have witnessed food retailers being consolidated into two major players: Woolworths and Coles. Rather than competing with each other they will agree on territories. I have seen two separate Woolworths built 1KM away from each other to reduce competition and improve profits from a captive market. Most of the small retailers and independent operators have been squeezed out of the market and a profitable duopoly has formed. Where is the antimonopoly agency?

Much of our food in the west is adulterated in one form or another. Genetic modification, toxic pesticides and dangerous chemicals lurk inside our food, yet it strangely much of it looks amazing… Something is very wrong here! The agencies and institutions that are meant to regulate the industry and protect us from harmful practices seem to have been corrupted.

An odd recent phenomenon I have noticed is very fat children in Asia. Years ago there were never any fat children in this part of the world as the diet did not allow it. Yet now I see children in Asia which are positively obese. They are eating a lot of cheap sweets like Oreos. Their parents are only trying to please the children but without realising it they have put the health of their child at risk. Obese children are fortunately not that common yet in Asia but it is a worrying trend which I am certain is diet related.

One of the major arguments for large corporate agribusiness is that it is more efficient. However we have more starving people today than ever. A much wiser strategy to feed people is localised community based organic farming but this represents decentralisation which is dangerous for the control structure.

It is important to remember that about a third of global human food produced gets lost or wasted. That is approximately 1.3 billion tonnes annually. Estimates for annual food waste are roughly US$ 680 billion in industrialised countries and US$ 310 billion in developing countries. If we were just smarter with what we already produce it would be possible to seriously reduce world hunger – but that is not as profitable as selling us new food!

Are They Trying To Poison Us?

The poisoning of our food provides and excellent revenue stream for the pharmaceutical and medical industries as people become increasingly toxic. This financial incentive is significant but sometimes I wonder if part of the plan is to poison us as a form of population control. I know it sounds appalling but there may be some truth in this.

Population control (reduction) schemes have been touted by the elite for a long time. The prevailing line from our world leaders is that or planet is overpopulated and we need to be sustainable. One convenient yet profitable way to reduce populations is to poison their food and charge them at the same time. Chemicals in our food increasingly toxify our bodies making us sick. There is no doubt this matches goals for population reduction.

Many of us have loved ones who are sick and perhaps getting worse. One of the most important things sick people need to recover is access to fresh organic food that is unadulterated with toxic chemicals. We all need clean food to stay healthy and recover from illness. If possible grow your own – it is amazing what we can produce even with a small space! ?

What Can We Do?

As usual the most important thing is to educate yourself on nutrition and the state of the food industry with regards to GMOs, pesticides and artificial additives. There are some links below to get you going. Once you have educated yourself it is important that you educate the community around you.

As an educated community we can vote with our wallets. This is what big business is worried about. We should choose to eat healthy food so that we are happy and healthy in life. We should support small organic producers. Voting with our wallets is a very powerful tool to quickly influence government and business.

A further alternative is that we start to educate ourselves and grow organic food. With the correct techniques it is possible to produce significant produce with only a small space. Some cities have community gardens and if there isn’t one near you try setting one up. Once you have your own organic food you are free from this destructive system. You will have much more money and be healthier. With produce you can then barter with your new organic friends and avoid money all together! ?
