THE GINGE NUMPTY IS NOT ON YOUR SIDE

Neither of these guys is coming to save you. And the numpty on the right is more dangerous than it looks... Watch out for strange looking ginge numpties America!

This discussion between James Corbett and Whitney Webb is interesting - https://corbettreport.com/dissecting-the-selection/ - for the most part I'm doing my best to ignore the four yearly fake American "election" but they do discuss what is really going on.

I was posting this GIF all over the place back in 2016 but it seems like nothing has changed in the past eight years!

VOLKSWAGON IS ON IT'S KNEES

 GO WOKE, GO BROKE...

Volkswagon's virtue signaling diversion into electric vehicles

In the late 2010s, VW began its push into electric vehicle production with the introduction of its ID family of electric cars. The increased focus on electric vehicles was largely politically driven by factors like increasingly stringent emissions standards and overly optimistic future demand for electric vehicles.

EV car sales stalling, plant closures

However, VW electric vehicle sales have since taken a turn for the worst. EVs aren’t popular in Germany. Their sales in the first half of 2024 were approximately 317,200 units worldwide, lower than the same period in 2023 (321,600 EVs). The future of EV sales now looks bleak: Volkswagen just announced the closure of its Audi Brussels plant in Belgium, which primarily produces electric vehicles. This decision comes due to lower-than-expected demand for electric vehicles and is expected to take effect in February 2025.

Green Party anti-auto activist, college dropout on VW supervisory board

Sitting on the company’s supervisory board is Julia Willie Hamburga German politician from Alliance 90/The Greens. Ms. Hamburg also serves as the Deputy Minister-President of Lower Saxony and the State Minister for Education and Culture.

According to her resume, Ms. Hamburg was educated in Hanover where she studied political science, German philology, and then studied philosophy at the University of Göttingen.

She dropped out of all her studies without a degree. Moreover, she’s an anti-car activist who travels by bicycle. She has neither industrial management experience, financial expertise nor an inkling of automotive engineering. She is one of the top executives at VW. Clearly, running a successful car company is not the objective here!

BIKE INDUSTRY MILKED THE GOOSE

Over the past few years the bike companies have milked the golden goose to death, selling NZ$10K - $15k bikes to clueless numpties by convincing them cycling is all about having a flash bike. But it never really was, and that lie is slowly taking them down.

Despite clearance sales of up to 30% off, high end bikes are still sitting unsold on shop floors for upwards of NZ$10k, but who on earth is spending that much on a bike in a recession?

Specialized Turbo Levo SL Expert 2025

Last year big companies like Trek and Giant announced massive production cut backs, along with half price sales, but they still just couldn't move all the unsold bikes.

Part of the reason for this, that is seldom mentioned, is that in the real world, if the ride was say up to the top of a 500m hill, and then back down again, a hardtail XC bike would only be about 1 min slower than a big flash freeride rig coming down, but would easily be 15 mins faster going up, so would be 14 mins faster overall in an actual ride.

"You’ll be blown away by it’s unmatched combination of flawless handling, capability, and “2 X You” amplification that gives you the Power to Ride More Trails. Compare it to anything out there, with a motor or without"

OK...well it's not quite cheaper, but this example makes the bike prices look pretty stupid - A 2025 Yamaha YZ250 retails for NZ$14,899 - and a motorcross bike has thousands more parts than an MTB, and weighs around 100kg, so costs vastly more to manufacture.

In terms of development the latest $12k mountain bikes are basically only at the point MX bikes were at 30 years ago, but without a motor.

GREAT SITES THAT LOOK A BIT CRAP

There seems to be an unwritten rule that if you have a huge website with masses of amazing "conspiracy" content going right back to the 90's, you have to leave the site looking like it did in 1998 and never update it's appearance or organise it properly. Here are some classic examples of must see sites that look like something the cat dragged in:

THE MORE I LEARN THE LESS I KNOW

Reading some of my old blog posts, five years ago I seemed to know all sorts of things that I'm not so certain of now. While I did make quite a few accurate predictions back then, I probably wouldn't have anticipated that I'd end up knowing less in the future than I did then.

And watching some podcasts lately I've come to the conclusion that the longer they drag on for, the less worthwhile stuff is actually said. Podcasts used to typically be about 15 to 45 minutes long which is plenty long enough. But now, some of them are going on for several hours. If someone can't say their piece in under an hour they are wasting everyone's time.

Like a bunch of fat whales queuing up at McDonald's for a big feed of shit, most of what we are getting served online is not doing us any good. It's time for a better diet!

Here is a 26 minute podcast/audio where Amazing Polly totally nails it:

Although I later came to the realisation that "Amazing Polly" was a shill, when I watched this podcast I thought it was great to see someone online expressing this poibt - what she says here is something I often feel myself, and I get the feeling she was for real in this one, because I recognize the tone of her voice!

Although personally I don't trust Jim Carrey an inch, and I think "The Truman Show" was the illuminati doing one of their reveals (she doesn't mention that part).

Another one of my wild speculations is that Jim Carrey was playing a CGI version of Joe Biden
